Rialto Theatre - Morrilton, Arkansas
Information:We met with 4 members of ESAPIat 5:30 pm. We did baseline readings and toured the hot spots of the establishment.
Backgrouund:Guy O. Vail originally opened the Theater. The Rialto was the first motion picture theater in Morrilton and in the spring of 1925 it was sold to I.W. Nance of Conway. In 1927 Arkansas Amusement Enterprises, Inc purchased the theater and officially renamed it the Rialto Theatre. The Rialto closed in 1987 and was vacant until taken over by the city. Restoration began in 1997.
Experiences:Some investigators got feelings of unease and chills. Investigators reported also feeling cold spots and shadows was seen.
